Daniel Bess, born October 8, 1977 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, is an actor. He plays Lieutenant Chris Cahill in Last Resort. He co-stars in the first season episode "Captain". He has been active since 1999 and has also appeared in the films Not Another Teen Movie (2001), Munich (2005), and Constellation (2005). He had a recurring role in the first season of 24 as Rick Allen. He has also appeared in the series ER, Firefly, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Veronica Mars.
